Shánah Spa & Wellness Center at Bishop's Lodge Resort warms the soul with enticing winter packages
SANTA FE, NM. - DECEMBER 2002 - Nestled in the majestic foothills of the Sangre de Cristos, the newly opened SháNah Spa and Wellness Center at Bishop's Lodge Resort welcomes winter with rejuvenating and refreshingly affordable packages. The winter getaways include deluxe accommodations, a delectable breakfast and two invigorating 60-minute spa treatments, gratuities, resort fee and taxes.
Packages are based on double occupancy and duration of stay: the one-day package is priced at $430 daily; 3-day stay: $1055 and a 5-day stay is $1585. Guests save a substantial $80 daily when booking the three night package and $114 daily when staying for five-nights. Comparable packages in the summer seasons are 35% higher.

June 3, 2002 Santa Fe, New Mexico The Bishop's Lodge Resort and Spa is eagerly anticipating the completion of their newly constructed Shánah Spa & Wellness Center in early July 2002. The new spa facility, designed by Pamela Anderson of Anderson Miller, Ltd., is located on 440 acres and consists of 7,000 square feet of peaceful interior space and 16,000 square feet of serene gardens.
The philosophy of the Shánah Spa is one of a holistic nature, aiming to create a wellness environment promoting the generation of harmony between the mind, body and spirit, whereby offering guests a tranquil atmosphere in which to be pampered. Reflecting the culture of the southwest the word Shánah has been borrowed from the Navajo Indian tribe and when translated describes our spa's goal - to create a vigorous, energetic and healthy experience.
