SháNah Spa and Wellness Center at Bishops Lodge is nestled deep within the loving arms of the Sangre de Cristos, on
lands that are steeped in the culture of the pueblo Indians. Ancestors to the Anasazi - the ancient ones, imbued with
the rich culture of Spain and Mexico and now home to some of the best healers in the world. SháNah, which means
vitality, energy, is more than a spa to pamper, it is a sanctuary where one can take time out to be nurtured by Mother
Nature, guided by ancient wisdom and touched by angels. Come away for a week, a day, or an hour. Give yourself the
gift of time, space and knowledge; it may change your life.
At SháNah Spa, all sessions will begin with an optional drumming and blessing to set the intention and open the heart.
We give full 60 and 90 minutes sessions that encourage the synergistic dance of therapist and guest. Our motto is to
individualize the treatment. We recognize our therapist are the most important asset of the spa and we empower them
to do their best work in an environment that enhances their healing energy, their SháNah, and in turn nourish and
deepen the experience of our guests.
We offer all-inclusive Spa Packages that focus on our guests' specific goals. Be it Stress Management, Weight Loss,
Health & Wellness or Spiritual Journey, our package consultants will individualize their retreat to the make the most of
their time.
Our facilities include 6 indoor treatment rooms, 2 private massage gardens, a Watsu pool, outdoor whirlpool, men's and
women's lounges all surrounded with waterfalls and lush native plants. The spa is located on the 440-acre compound of
Bishop's Lodge in the foothills North of Santa Fe.
